Dear parents, we are pleased to present you a new educational game “Roll the dice and read” designed by our teacher Vesela Mačkić. This game is ideal for practicing reading at home in a fun way, and can also be played in pairs.
How to play:
- There are 6 squares on the deck, the same as the side of the dice.
- Each field contains words that are turned down.
- When the child rolls the dice, he or she should read a word from the field that corresponds to the number on the dice.
- The goal of the game is to read all the words from all fields. If there are no more words in the field, and the child gets that number, it is skipped.
- Each successfully read word brings a point, and the child keeps the pieces of paper with the words. At the end of the game, the child adds up all his points and reveals how many words he has successfully read.
The game is simple and adapted for children to improve their reading skills through play and fun. We invite you to download this game and practice reading with your child at home.
