“The idea that we, as parents, had regarding our girl’s education basically involved the adoption of a good model of education through play, the acquisition of work habits and the desire to learn. To accept learning as a nice obligation, as a form of entertainment and not as torture. In addition to school activities, I also planned extracurricular activities for my child, sports and piano. In conversation with Ivan, I realized that her idea of educating children is similar, except that children get all curricular and extracurricular activities in one place with good teaching staff, and that time at home is time for family. So I decided to enroll my daughter in the Private Elementary School “Mihajlo Pupin.”

“After considering different options regarding primary education, my husband and I decided to enroll our firstborn in the Private Elementary School “Mihajlo Pupin”. Although we both acquired our knowledge in state institutions, we realized that the world for which we prepare our children requires something more from the individual than what the current system in public schools provides. First of all, it is of utmost importance to us that the number of children in classes is limited to 15 because this will allow teachers to adequately implement the program and dedicate themselves to each student in accordance with his or her pace of acquiring knowledge. In addition, we appreciate the efforts that have already been made to prevent peer violence through the policy of enrolling only students in lower grades, as well as through concrete procedures to solve such problems in case they occur. And most importantly, the school has a fantastic team of staff who are fully focused on children and their well-being. When do you want your kids to go to school?
We open the school doors at 8 a.m., and the extended stay lasts until 5 p.m.
How many students can be in a class at most?
We have a smaller group of students, i.e. 15 students per class. In this way, we can devote quality attention to the whole class, as well as to each child individually. Our goal is to monitor the progress of each child individually and react quickly, either to notice that someone is slower to absorb the material, or to discover a special talent that needs to be developed. In addition, smaller groups, up to 15 students, contribute to the creation of better and better connections between students.
How many meals do children have at school?
Children in our school have four meals, breakfast, lunch and two snacks. We try to make meals healthy and nutritionally rich, in order to provide them with enough energy for the day, but also to develop good habits and love for healthy eating from an early age.
Do students wear school uniforms?
Yes I do. For all children who are part of our school, we have provided uniforms that are adapted to their activities and provide maximum comfort. Also, children are provided with all the necessary materials, including books and supplies, so parents don’t have to worry about these things.
Is there a safe haven for the kids?
Transportation from home to school and back is provided for all students. Depending on the wishes, parents can take advantage of this opportunity or independently organize transport for their children.
What extracurricular activities does the school offer?
During the school week, children participate in a variety of activities, such as science experiments, drama sections, folklore, etiquette, piano for beginners, and sports grounds. They also attend scientific and cultural events. The Night of Museums, the Researchers’ Night, the Book Fair and the celebration of the European Mobility Week are just some of the regular events we visit. Also, we regularly organize excursions outside the city, where children explore natural sights, visit historical sites and participate in educational workshops, which contributes to their overall development and connection with the natural beauty of our country.
